Just spent a very enjoyable night at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful room very comfortable and clean. Food very nice service very good and bar not badly priced. Nice seating outside and nice gardens. Would not hesitate to return to this lovely hotel.
Nice break. Staff were very friendly and the food was very good. The hotel in places was a little tired, for the money we paid still a very nice hotel and the surrounding areas well worth a visit. It has a gym, tennis courts, spar and a swimming pool. What more do we need.

Some 20yrs ago we parked in Stourport and walked down the river to The Angel Inn, it was a bit run down, not very pleasant to sit outside, we made a special journey to see mainly if it was still open, when we arrived after the same walk from years ago, I went in inside to get drinks, and was I pleasantly surprised, it is now a comfortable, well presented, modern Inn, serving a superb pint of Real Ale, and although we didn't eat the meals looked ample and very well presented, we will return, soon.
Great location for pub grub and beer I've been many times before I wished they had some more shelted seating outside for those darker or Windy days

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was tired but clean. Had windows that opened so we could control temperature. Travel cot all set up for my son. Only downside for me is that the hotel appeared to be used as living accommodation, possibly emergency housing by the council? As there is no outside space, this meant that children were playing by running up and down the corridor. They certainly weren't badly behaved but if the hotel regularly rents out rooms for living in, maybe offering a small play area for these children could make an enormous difference to their lives, might also cause less noise to customers using it as a hotel.
Nothing wrong with the hotel at all, as usual rooms are very tidy and clean, but I think there is a reason the room tariff is so low At the rear of the hotel immediately behind is a permanent traveller site. It was a hot night so I had to have the windows open which resulted being kept awake until past midnight with shouting, swearing and general commotion. When I did finally get to sleep I was then woken again by a chorus of barking dogs at around 4 am. This carried on until I got fed up and left at around 6 I think it would have been better with a room at the front of the hotel, but I won’t be rushing back here. Beware.

I'll start by saying that the staff were really friendly. The pub itself was really nice and clean. Very quiet but we came in at late lunchtime so wouldn't expect it to be too busy. Myself and my son (10) wanted a late lunch. we ordered a Ploughman's and a burger meal (Off a special lunchtime menu). We sat outside as the weather was beautiful. Our food came out. My ploughman's was not very nice at all. Floppy celery, a hard and dry 1/2 scotch egg (Looks like it had been left out over night), 1/2 small pork pie, again didn't look very fresh. Salad was wilted... The bread and the Ham were very lovely (Expensive sandwich!). My son's burger was perfectly ok. While sat in the sun my son decided he needed another drink. I gave him a £2 coin. He wanted a lime and soda... Said lime and soda came to £2 exactly. I thought this was rather steep for something that is normally around 50p in other pubs... I'll be honest, its put me off. We don't go out very often but when we do we really look forward to it. I was left disappointed. I have since been told that its under new management. I am therefore presuming that you are finding your feet. I really hope you find them quick and things improve soon.
Loved this place. Lovely decor. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent food and willing to provide a meal not even listed on menu!! Slightly on the expensive side on main menu but they do have a well priced set menu which was £12 for 2 courses or £16 for 3 courses so can't moan!! Lovely garden area and the building has great character. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic night here, two minute walk to the centre. Great room with a patio and very clean, proper sized cups for a proper tea. Great breakfast included in the price and made to feel very welcome, won't look elsewhere if we stop in Stourport again.
Excellent place to stay. Best breakfast in town . Room with jacuzzi was out of this world. comfortable with plenty of everything in the room. X
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
